Substitute Pools

What is a "Substitute Pool"?

The Substitute Pool refers to the amount of available hours for substitution you have prescribed for each staff member. This function is useful to get an overview of amount of hours each teacher has substituted, and consequently, to keep track of the budget for substituting, both within the school and for each teacher. You may, for instance, sort the listing by numbers of hours used for substitute, or by hours remaining from the substitute hours.
In the example below we can see that John Dean has the most available hours, having been assiged 5.0 hours and only covered aproximately 0.8hours so far in the schedule.

The hours of substituting in these pools can be edited or assigned in “Assign Hours” where you get an overview of all hours (teachers, planning, substitute). As an alternative, it can be assigned directly in "substitute pools" in the section "Pool".
